Over Night Desert Camel & Jeep Safari

Off the beaten track for those looking for a tranquil and relaxing overnight camping experience on the sand dunes.

The overnight camel safari is the most popular option for those who have a short time but still want spend a night under the desert moon and stars. Your trip starts from Jaisalmer by jeep, stopping off for a visit to one of the local villages on the way. Next you will reach the desert to meet your camel. Here you will travel by camel to the sand dunes while watching some of the desert wildlife. You will reach a secluded and peaceful location in the sand dunes in time to enjoy watching the beautiful sun set in the west of the Thar Desert. After sunset enjoy tea and snacks with a bonfire (winter only) while the camel men cook a fresh vegetarian dinner in desert style in front of you. After dinner relax on the dunes and count as many stars as you can. The next morning is an early morning wakeup for sunrise, breakfast and returning to Jaisalmer by jeep.

Start time: winter 1.30pm and sumer is 3pm, return by 10am
